The diesel engine of the aerial work platform provides a continuous power supply for the equipment and is widely used in production and operation. Since the diesel engine itself is a very precise machine, maintenance during its operation is of vital importance. The maintenance of diesel engines can be simply divided into daily maintenance and regular maintenance!

Daily maintenance

Daily maintenance refers to the routine inspection of the engine after the end of the day's work, which is carried out in the following seven steps.

① Inspect and clean the exterior of the machine to check for any oil, water or gas leaks.

② Check the engine oil level dipstick. After parking for 30 minutes, ensure that the engine is in a level state. The oil level should be between the two marks. If there is an increase in oil, the cause should be carefully investigated. If the engine oil decreases, add the same type of engine oil and continue to observe after working for a period of time.

③ Check the antifreeze. If the liquid level is insufficient, add it in time.

④ Check if the fuel level is sufficient. If it is insufficient, replenish it in time.

⑤ Check if the belt is loose or damaged. If so, tighten or replace it in time.

⑥ Check all the connection and fastening parts. If any are loose, tighten them again.

⑦ Eliminate various abnormal problems during the operation of the engine.
